EDUCATION: Culture and Diversity Research / Advocacy


Recently, through her work at Bank Street College of Education's "Leadership in Technology and the Arts"  graduate program, in collaboration with Parsons, the New School for Design, Shireen has gained expertise and training in creating and shaping curriculum in these fields and for varied populations.
By synthesizing her unique personal and professional backgrounds, Shireen is uniquely qaulified to create appropriately differentiated learning environments while offering a culturally sensitive educational experience. She has conducted workshops in the community on topics ranging from Fashion, Art and Technology, to Cultural Diversity and Identity Development in teen girls.
She is currently pursuing collaborative opportunities and partnerships through which she can create and facilitate Art/Design Workshops and Programming for diverse learning styles and education levels.
